Celebrating the centenary of the Suffragette movement in 2018 these films look at women in society, then and now. The incredible archive footage of the Suffragette marches demonstrate the number of people involved in the movement to give women the vote. Rosa Galvin's piece for Random Acts is a movement on the theme of pregnancy and homelessness. Check the Label examines the relationship between two sisters. These ideas come together for the main act - Key Change - which tells the story of five women in prison counted down the number of sleeps until they are free. Violence, drugs, lack of respect, pregnancy and family all feature in this comic and emotional film
